Cevahir is a large shopping centre in Sisli, opened in 2005, with about three hundred and forty shops over six levels.
Practical notes: open daily 10:00 to 22:00. Mainstream high-street brands, electronics, a cinema, a large food court and a children’s play area. Cards accepted everywhere; tax-free forms available at the information desk.
Getting there: the mall sits directly above the Sisli-Mecidiyekoy station on the M2 metro line. From the hotel, take the T1 tram to Kabatas, change to the funicular for Taksim, then M2 north — about forty minutes in total. A taxi takes around thirty minutes outside rush hour.
For most guests staying in the old city, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are far closer; Cevahir is worth the trip mainly for specific brands or a rainy day.
