Zorlu Performing Arts Center is in Besiktas, inside the Zorlu Center complex. It is Turkey’s largest performance venue, with a main hall of about 2,200 seats and a smaller studio theatre.
Practical notes: tickets are sold online and at the box office; performances usually start at 20:00 or 20:30. The complex includes restaurants, parking and a shopping level, so arriving early is easy to fill. Programme details are published a season ahead.
Getting there: T1 tram to Kabatas, funicular to Taksim, then M2 metro to Gayrettepe — around forty minutes. By taxi it is roughly half an hour outside peak traffic. Returning after a late performance is easiest by taxi, as the metro closes around midnight.
Worth planning ahead rather than deciding on the day, since most performances sell out.
