Sultan Hotel is excellently served by Istanbul’s public transport network. We
are just one block from the Gülhane tram stop on the T1 tramway line, and
about 200 metres from Sirkeci Marmaray train station – both within a very
short walk of the hotel.
The T1 tram connects major areas
including Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Karaköy and Kabataş, and links to the M2
metro line and various ferry terminals. From here you can easily reach Taksim
Square (with a transfer), cross the Golden Horn to Beyoğlu and the Galata
Tower, or travel to the Grand Bazaar area. The Sirkeci Marmaray line offers a
fast connection to the Asian side of Istanbul.
The Eminönü
ferry terminal is a short walk away, offering ferries across the Bosphorus
and cruises along it. Multiple bus routes also serve the Sirkeci and Eminönü
areas. For private transport, taxis are readily available and our concierge
can arrange private car services. Thanks to our central location, many
attractions are also within comfortable walking distance.
