Hodjapasha Culture Centre is a restored fifteenth-century hamam used as a performance venue, two minutes from the hotel. It runs two programmes: the Mevlevi sema ceremony and a Turkish folk dance evening, on alternating nights.
Practical details: performances last about sixty minutes, start times are usually 19:00 or 20:00 depending on the season, and seating is unreserved within each category, so arriving fifteen minutes early gets you a better place. Photography is not allowed during the sema.
Tickets sell out in summer; booking a day or two ahead is safer, and our reception can handle it for you. Being this close means you can have dinner at the hotel first and still walk over in time.
